TVCP Mini-Site
Partnership working
Through the TVCP we encourage a partnership approach to tackling violent crime. Violence is an issue which a wide range of agencies have a responsibility to address, and the bids CDRPs make for TVCP funding must show evidence of multi-agency working.
All CDRPs should have dedicated Violent Crime sub-groups, or groups which focus on alcohol-related or domestic violence specifically, bringing together key individuals from all the relevant agencies. Some TVCP areas have also developed specific TVCP multi-agency groupings to oversee the delivery of programme objectives. Often agencies may be able to match TVCP funding, to allow initiatives to go wider or deeper than may otherwise be possible.
