Monitoring and reporting
In order for resources to be allocated appropriately,
for good practice protocols to be developed and for a simple
assessment of whether the local initiatives are being effective in any
way, it is essential that there is regular monitoring and reporting
and sharing of key information. This should include:
-
the results of intelligence gathering about local sectors where
trafficking may occur, and incidences of trafficked victims being
identified;
-
increases in victims presenting, referrals, witnesses, etc.;
-
progress
with and the results of any local initiatives.
