Their needs


Once victims of trafficking have escaped or been removed from the control of their traffickers, they will have a variety of needs. Many of these needs are precisely those that any victim of sexual assault will feel, and the understanding of good practice that has built up over many years with such victims should be drawn upon. Other needs relate to their trafficked status, particularly relating to their ongoing risk from the traffickers. In addition to basic needs such as food and clothing victims of trafficking have the following needs:
