Poverty & Disadvantage Programme : seeks to ‘improve the quality
of life of people and communities who are affected by poverty and disadvantage”.
The programme particularly welcomes applications to support groups who are at risk
of marginalisation, including minority ethnic groups, and ex-offenders. The average
size of grant awarded is £90,000 over three years. The smallest sum that can be applied
for is £500. Projects costing over £200, 000 must include a business plan
