Within the partnership

The fear of crime and other associated quality of life issues cannot be addressed by an individual agency alone or as a sole issue. To tackle fear of crime takes a co-ordinated multi-agency approach as well as linking into other strategies which can either affect fear of crime or be affected by fear of crime.

What works will differ from area to area as each has its own problems and issues to tackle, but each member of the partnership has a vital role to play in tackling concerns about issues such as:

·    transport
·        environment
·        anti-social behaviour
·        community cohesion
·        neighbourhood renewal
·        people feeling vulnerable
·        communication
