  • Encourage them to get in touch with Victim Support, if they have not already. Victim Support provides invaluable advice and support to help people cope with the aftershocks of crime. They also advise on taking practical steps to minimise the risk of becoming a victim again. The service is free and confidential. To find out where your local branch is visit http://www.victimsupport.org.
  • Look at the Repeat Victimisation toolkit for further advice and guidance. Visit http://www.crimereduction.gov.uk/toolkits/rv00.htm.
