Tilley Awards 2008 – ‘Most Innovative’ Category
This year the Home Office is giving recognition to projects which may not have demonstrated the strongest use of problem solving against other applications but that are notable due to their innovative approach towards tackling crime reduction or community safety concerns.
Voting has now closed in the Innovation Award. Crime Prevention, Glens of Antrim Rural Crime re: Rural crime were declared the winners and receive 2 free tickets to the POP Conference on 9-11 September .
Operation Pasture was subsequently the recipient of the 2008 Herman Goldstein Award for Excellence in Problem-Oriented Policing.
