Combined Self-Assessment for Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships

The Home Office has developed a combined self-assessment framework (SAF) which will assist Crime and Disorder Partnerships (CDRPs) and Drug Action Teams (DATs) to judge how they are performing as a partnership. Undergoing a self-assessment is a recognised method of identifying strengths and areas for improvement in organisations, businesses and public bodies. The SAF consists of a form, accompanying guidance on the process and prompts to assist partnerships in completing the form.

The SAF has been sent to CDRPS and DATs. Copies of all supporting documents are available below.

With the exception of Welsh partnerships (who will complete in January 2004), introductory training on the self-assessment framework has now finished.

A distance learning package is available on this website. This is based on the national introductory training delivered to Government Offices and partnerships in October and November 2003. Further advice is also provided in the frequently asked questions and answers. Should you have any further queries, please contact the Crime and Drugs Teams in your regional Government Office.
