Drugs prevention through a family of schools
A 'Family of Schools' project in West Yorkshire ran from 1996 to 1999 in an attempt to make more integrated the drugs education and prevention agencies in the area. The primary agents of drugs education were school teachers. One 'Family of Schools' is phrase used to denote one secondary school and its feeder primary schools.
Drugs Prevention Through Youth Work
This research was carried out between October 1996 and October 1998 and examined the delivery of drugs prevention through youth intervention. It concentrated on a drug prevention programme using a structured education programme or through direct intervention with the community via street-based outreach and detached work.
