Aims

To provide good practice information on a range of initiatives which will be effective in tackling violent crime

To provide a forum for practitioners from around the country to share successful ideas, explore problems and barriers to success, and learn from each other's experience.

Summary

Geoff Whitehead, Crime Reduction Team Leader for the Government Office North West introduced the day and two guest speakers.

Sally Dowler from Milly's Fund and Sharon Doughty from Missdorothy.com spoke on the subject of violent crime against children and young people.
