Funding from Government Offices for the Regions
There are 9 regional Government Offices (GOs) in England and a Government Office for Wales. One of the responsibilities of these organisations is the administration of several small Government funding streams.
GOs are responsible for:
Community Champions Fund
Community Learning Chests
Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chests
These schemes all offer small grants to local organisations to fund projects in the local community. The maximum grant for the two 'Chest' funds is £5000, and the maximum for the Community Champions Fund is £2000. The details for each region are stored separately, so you'll need to know which is your local GO when visiting the website.
