Public Service Agrement (PSA) Consultation
Have your say about how the current PSAs could be improved!
As part of the Government's work to prepare for negotiations around the Home Office PSAs under the 2007 Spending Review, the Home Office is seeking views from its stakeholders and partners on what can be learnt from the SR04 targets and on how the current PSAs might be improved.
For example:
What are the key learning points from previous targets, particularly those set in the 2004 Spending Review (SR04) that we should draw on in the 2007 Spending Review?
What opportunities to improve upon the SR04 PSA set are there:
Have we got the right set of PSAs, the right number, are the measures right, do they interact properly?
Do the PSAs provide sufficient flexibility for making decisions - especially at local level?
Are there more effective levers for incentivising delivery of the Government's objectives than the SR04 targets?
A consultation document regarding this can be found at this link www.homeoffice.gov.uk/documents/cons-2006-psa-targets
The consultation is aimed at delivery partners and stakeholders rather than the public but the Home Office hoping to have views from many of its stakeholders and partners.
Please send any views you have to
