Crime Reduction - Helping to Reduce Crime in Your Area

Domestic Domestic Violence Mini-site

Government Offices

Government Offices were set up in 1994 to focus on delivering a wide range of Government programmes.  The Home Office Crime Reduction teams are co-located with the Government Office regions.  A team is also based in the National Assembly of Wales, although separate arrangements exist for Scotland and Northern Ireland.   Each office is responsible for encouraging and supporting the take-up of initiatives as well as monitoring and implimenting local projects that were established under the Crime Reduction Programme.
